The Rose Queen is a long-standing tradition that we are very proud of. Each year a young lady is chosen to be our Rose Queen, then a retinue of younger boys and girls are selected to support the Rose Queen. The crowning of the Rose Queen has been a tradition in Grimsargh village since the 1970s, and is something that is still going strong today.

Both the current and retiring Queens, and their retinue, walk in the parade to the village green.  The retiring Queen then crowns the new Queen.

This year, the Rose Queen Selection will be slightly different.  The draw will take place at The Plough, Grimsargh on Saturday 2nd March, 5:30 – 6:00pm.  It will also be screened live on FaceBook.

For more information or how to enter please see our Rose Queen Entry Form 2019.
